In redesigning this cover I really wanted to balance a witchy coven-like energy with the brutal honesty that Mona Chollet carries through the pages. She reminds us that the term "witch" has been used to shame and label women as a part of the torture and murder of thousands of non-conformist women in our not-so-distant history. In the spirit of that history, I designed a cover that reminds us of the flames that many women were burned by in the witch hunts.
